This piece started as a quick doodle during my meditative drawing class. While I never thought to make much of it, my students felt differently. And, as I am not just a teacher, but also, and even primarily, a student, even in my own workshops, I decided to listen.

Bit by bit, adding some elements and deleting others, in a slow exploration of what a potential world for the painted figure might look like, this artwork slowly turned into this surreal digital space — somewhere between Henry Moore and a dream you almost remember.
